Affiliate disclosure

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Some product links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change our picks.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Padel & Tennis UK (a trading name of RJS & Partners LLP) participates in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk and other Amazon websites.

What this means

Some of the outbound product links on this site — most obviously in our gear reviews and buyer guides — are affiliate links. If you click one and end up buying something on Amazon (or another retailer we partner with), we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. It costs you nothing extra and it helps fund the reviews, court data and guides we publish for free.

How we mark affiliate links

Every affiliate link on this site is marked with rel="sponsored nofollow" and opens in a new tab. Amazon links carry one of our Associates tracking IDs (for example tag=rjspartnersll-21, or a page-specific ID on our racket guides so we can see which guides readers find useful). We deliberately do not display cached prices — Amazon's terms require us to send you to their site to see the current price, so you'll always see a "check price on Amazon" style call to action rather than a hard-coded figure.

How this affects our reviews

It doesn't. Our racket, shoe, ball and clothing recommendations are based on what our coaches and testers actually put in players' hands, not on which retailer pays the highest commission. If a product we recommend isn't stocked on Amazon, we say so and link to the manufacturer or specialist retailer instead. No brand pays for placement in our editorial picks.

Other affiliate relationships

Alongside Amazon Associates, we occasionally use affiliate or referral links for court-booking platforms, tennis retailers (e.g. Tennis-Point) and lesson providers. The same rules apply: the link is marked sponsored, the recommendation is editorial, and the commission (if any) has no bearing on whether a venue, product or provider is listed.
